Helping others has been second nature to Drake since a very young age.
He enjoys getting to know people from all walks of life, enjoying philosophical discussions with floor-sweepers at the Riverside Church in New York as well as baseball discussions with his fellow members of the Commission for Higher Education in the French Ministry of Culture.
He knows the pressures of being on the hot seat as principal oboe in a professional symphony orchestra, the grueling life of 22 weeks on the road and the nocturnal lifestyle of playing in jazz clubs. He also knows the responsibility of being director of a school. He knows what it’s like to have art openings in four galleries at the same time. He has had successes and failures and has learned from both. He has been hired and fired, once bringing a successful lawsuit against his former employer. He’s been a night watchman and a small-business owner. He has been married more than once, and his unconditional caring and consideration for the other helped avoid unpleasant endings.
His approach to problems is marked by his tendency to look where others don’t.
Drake understands the beauty and the bumps of life. Whether you are an individual, a couple, a business, or none or all of these, he will have something to offer you.
